Plain statement of how GuruLynk is funded today and how it intends to be funded.
Current status
At the time of writing, GuruLynk does not use affiliate links. Outbound product buttons in the audit results are neutral placeholders and are not monetised.
Planned monetisation
GuruLynk intends to join affiliate programmes operated by some of the software vendors we cover. If a reader signs up through such a link, Guru Media SRLS may receive a commission at no additional cost to the reader.
What will not change
- Affiliate availability is stored separately and is not an input to the match score.
- Tools without any commercial programme remain fully eligible for the top recommendation.
- Rankings, verdicts and category status are produced before monetisation data is considered.
- Any monetised link will be disclosed on the page where it appears.
Why this matters
A recommendation engine that can be bought is worthless to the reader and, in the long run, to the vendor. Our scoring model is published in full on the methodology page so the claim can be checked rather than trusted.
